Locked On Patriots Hit - Quick Takes on the New England Patriots

New England Patriots May Have Sent Kayshon Boutte a MESSAGE

Episode Summary

Did the New England Patriots send a message about Kayshon Boutte’s future? While AJ Brown, Romeo Doubs and Pop Douglas didn’t play in the Patriots preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts, Boutte was on the field for 16 snaps. Was it simply New England needing an experienced receiver on the field? Or was there something more behind the decision with questions continuing to surround Boutte’s future with the Patriots? Plus, rookie EDGE Gabe Jacas impressed in his preseason debut despite a PFF grade that didn’t necessarily reflect his impact. Jacas made plays around the quarterback, showed high-level effort on special teams and even earned an enthusiastic reaction from Mike Vrabel. Two very different Patriots storylines coming out of the preseason opener. #NewEnglandPatriots #Patriots #KayshonBoutte #GabeJacas #NFLPreseason #NFL
