The New England Patriots face major questions surrounding Kayshon Boutte, Drake Maye and one of the NFL’s deepest wide receiver groups heading into the 2026 season. Will the Patriots keep Boutte in New England, commit to him long term, or explore a potential trade? Kayshon Boutte’s future has quickly become one of the biggest Patriots storylines of training camp. Keeping Boutte would give Drake Maye another proven weapon alongside AJ Brown and a talented New England Patriots receiving corps. But with questions about Boutte’s future contract and potential trade value, the Patriots front office has a major decision to make. Meanwhile, AJ Brown appears rejuvenated in New England, bringing energy and excitement to the Patriots offense as he builds chemistry with Drake Maye.
