The Christian Gonzalez contract saga with the New England Patriots may FINALLY be moving toward a resolution. NFL insider Ian Rapoport said he believes cooler heads can prevail and a deal between Gonzalez and the Patriots could get done “pretty quickly.” Rapoport also said he doesn't expect the situation to leak into the regular season. Patriots legend Devin McCourty also weighed in, suggesting this feels like the type of extension that ultimately gets done shortly before the season begins. Plus, New England might have a very different problem on offense: too many mouths to feed. Kyle Williams is generating buzz about earning a role, while the Patriots already have AJ Brown, Romeo Doubs, Pop Douglas, Mack Hollins and potentially Kayshon Boutte competing for opportunities from Drake Maye. The question isn't whether New England has weapons anymore — it's how Josh McDaniels gets everyone involved. #NewEnglandPatriots #Patriots #ChristianGonzalez #DrakeMaye #PatriotsNews #NFL Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
